After
a first and sparkling edition of the "Milazzo International Film Festival"
which recorded a sold out audience and success for all the related events,
the Artistic Director Annarita Campo is already working on the second
edition.
This year due to Covid-19, the events cannot take place and so the
organization is already working to create an online edition to reach the
public directly at home.
The first edition of the festival featured the great Totò, who was awarded a
post-mortem career award, and many actors, directors, writers, musicians and
magicians.
Special guest was the actress Francesca Rettondini, a great friend of
the Campo, who exclusively presented the short film "IL CIOCCOLATINO"
directed by Rosario Petix, dedicated to the memory of her missing mother.
The docufilm "A Prince of the Name Totò" produced by Rai Cinema
was also presented.
