"LEI MI PARLA ANCORA" BY PUPI AVATI WINNER OF THE FEATURE FILM SECTION OF THE "MILAZZO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL" DIRECTED BY ANNARITA CAMPO
The latest film by the great master of Italian cinema, Pupi Avati, won the "Feature
Films" section of the 2021 edition of the "Milazzo International Film
Festival" directed by the famous director Annarita Campo.
The artistic director and founder of the festival as well as president of
the jury, is satisfied with the awarding of the prize to a great master who
has made the history of our cinema.
The film "She speaks to me again" is based on the autobiographical novel
written by Giuseppe Sgarbi, father of the famous art critic Vittorio and
Elisabetta.
The film, released in the cinema a few months ago, tells the love story that
lasted 65 years between Giuseppe Sgarbi and his wife Rina. After the
disappearance of his beloved wife, Giuseppe still continues to talk to her
secretly from her children and servants.
Giuseppe relies on a ghostwriter (a ghost writer) to tell with a book his
love story with his beloved woman and the presence of her that he continues
to feel at his side.
The film sees the participation of great actors from the Italian cinema
scene.
First of all, Renato Pozzetto who plays the role of Giuseppe Sgarbi while
the extraordinary Stefania Sandrelli plays Rina, Giuseppe's wife.
In the role of the ghostwriter we find Fabrizio Gifuni.
Chiara Caselli plays the role of her daughter Elisabetta while Lino Musella
and Isabella Ragonese play Giuseppe and Rina when they were young.
We also find the participation of Alessandro Haber who plays Rina's brother.
The film is produced by Due Film and distributed by Vision Distribution.
The film is visible on "Sky Cinema" and "Now Tv".
The feature film will open the third edition of the "Milazzo International
Film Festival" directed by the director Annarita Campo which this year will
take place online on the website www.milazzointernationalfilmfestival.it and
on the official Facebook and YouTube pages from 27 June to 13 August.
