The magazine "Divi & Cinema" was born in 2006 from my idea in order
to be able to give voice to all the talents present in the Italian territory
and beyond.
I talked about it with my friend Comm. Cav. Martino Iuvara,
well-known writer and journalist, discoverer of Shakespeare's Italian roots.
We have joined our forces and created this magazine that has been entering
the homes of Italians for fifteen years.
We started with 5,000 prints and then reached over 30,000 thousand from the
second issue onwards.
The magazine was presented for the first time to the public at Palazzo
Minerva of the Municipality of Syracuse in the presence of the mayor of the
city, avv. Giambattista Bufardeci, of the vice-president of the
province of Syracuse avv. Nello Lentini, of actress Sandra Milo,
of the major newspapers national team and many friends and authorities.
After the death of my friend Martino, I wanted to assign the role of "responsible
director" to the talented and successful Sicilian journalist Tiziana
Scuto.
With Dr. Scuto, "Divi & Cinema" changes its image, becomes feminine,
directed and edited by women.
Today, fifteen years after the first release, "Divi & Cinema" debuts
online to give the opportunity to an incalculable number of people to read
and follow it.
"Divi & Cinema" was born with the very specific purpose of giving
space to creativity, young talents and big names in cinema, entertainment
and art in general.
"Divi & Cinema" tells the career of great people and people who will
become great.
It tells of beauties, masterpieces and great performers.
It tells of dreams and reality. Italian and international realities.
Tell the story. Who did it and who will do it.
It tells about the protagonists and who the protagonists would like to be.
